I recently read a post about me and my work on tumblr. I didn’t want anything to do with it and their negativity. But with a lot of people messaging me about the post, I had to write this person and let them know what I thought. Here’s what I had to say to them. I just want to say, was it absolutely necessary typing that post? If you had a any problem with me, you could have easily messaged me. :/

I produce my items with patience and passion and give attention to detail. If you, or anyone else, think my items are too expensive, that is entirely incorrect. I’ve seen items created and priced at a much higher rate. If anyone believes my items are priced too high, they can simply not buy them. Until you, or others, have created items out of true passion and desire then, maybe you’ll know how disrespectful this blog you have produced is.

I am in NO WAY “mooching” off Pokemon designs because I asked people what their favorite pokemon was, I honestly was just curious. This had nothing to do with making “more designs to over price people.” When I first began crocheting, I started with animals. It wasnt until I received a commission to make Pikachu, was it then that I started making Pokemon. I love crocheting just about anything and everything. As you can see, I have other designs as well.

As to the 8-12 weeks to recieve an item. I clearly said “the estimatedproduction time is 8-12 weeks from purchase date, possibly longer due to the amount of orders from customers.” I truly am sorry buyers have to wait such a really long time for their orders, but that’s why I ask for the 8-12 weeks because my orders are at a high demand.

You have every right to have your opinions about my work, Ill give you that. And yes, I could get in trouble with Nintendo. I should have done my research before selling my items. I’ve now just read about copyright infringement. I will say this is my mistake, which is why I have taken my Pokemon desgins down.

It’s negativity through and through on your post, and it’s impossible to get away from it. I have no idea what drives this extreme negativity, but it was uncalled for. :/ 

It’s really easy when confronted with a negative person to get sucked into their spiral of negativity. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but do they stop to think about what kind of effect their negativity can fabricate. I don’t think so.
